Criteria
Postgraduate Degree in Agricultural Extension / Agricultural Economics / Agribusiness Management. Candidates with Ph.D. in relevant disciplines will be preferred. Maximum age limit is 35 years.

Responsibilities
Identification of Nodal Training Institutes (NTIs) in a specific state, coordination with training facilitators, NTIs, and State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institutes (SAMETIs), monitoring the quality of training content and methodology apart from handholding the training institutes, monitoring the implementation of the DAESI program as per the guidelines, release of funds to SAMETIs, obtaining monitoring charges and audited utilization certificate from training institutes, organizing annual review workshops in coordination with SAMETIs, publication of e-bulletins, posters, and newsletters, documenting innovative approaches of training institutes and success stories of agripreneurs and agri-input dealers, conducting field studies, data collection and research related to the centre, assisting in organizing training programs of the centre, and any other activities assigned by the Centre Head.

National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management was established in 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad, by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India as an autonomous Institute, from which its acronym ‘MANAGE’ is derived. In recognition of its importance and expansion of activities all over the country, its status was elevated to that of a National Institute in 1992 and re-christened to its present name i.e., National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management.
